Jobfetcher is a job rack(shelf), not a job board. Jobfetcher's comprehensive fetch ,links to millions of jobs found on thousands employer career portals, recruiter websites, job boards, and other employment sites in Nigeria, rather than to a limited set of job postings hosted directly on our own site.
Our goal is to make job search easier. We think that traditional online job search methods take too much time and make it difficult for job seekers to find a comprehensive set of relevant jobs, so we strive to create tools that make jobs more accessible and job search results more relevant.
Aim
The purpose of Jobfetcher is to help you answer the question, “What’s happening in the Nigerian Job market? You may wonder how Jobfetcher is different from a search engine. A search engine is good to answer a question like, “where can I find engineering jobs?” However, it has a much harder time answering the question, “who’s hiring and what are my options? That’s the kind of question that we answer.
We do this by collecting the headlines of the latest jobs from the best jobsites and employer portals in Nigeria. We group these jobs into individual tabs, then we display the most recent headlines of the job sources as well as their first paragraph.
You can think of jobfetcher as the “online job shelf of job info. We’ve subscribed to thousands of sources to provide by the minute Job updates. We are not destinations per se. Ultimately, our goal is to enhance your online job hunt by displaying jobs from sources that you’re already visiting plus helping you discover sources that you didn’t know existed and putting them side-by-side for comparison.
We also run a career enhancement blog, offering career and job hunting advice to the employed and soon to be employed Nigerian .This blog features articles from writers and career counselors from within and outside Nigeria
